THE BUILDING

Located on the border of Soldiers Hill and Ballarat North, the Lydiard Park neighbourhood has a distinct but diverse residential character including a mix of older established housing and examples of newer development.  

Designed by Ballarat firm, Porter Architects, the Lydiard Park townhouses evolved following a thorough consideration of site, context and sustainable design. The result is a collection of contemporary townhouses encompassing thoughtful detailing and carefully selected materials sympathetic to their setting.

THE INTERIORS

Through considered design Porter Architects have sought to connect the built form with the treed Lydiard Street environment and the openness of Marks Reserve. The homes in Lydiard Park include private balconies, courtyards and expansive open plan living and kitchen areas featuring double-glazed windows inviting the outdoors in. 

Master bedrooms feature generous windows to capture daylight and showcase adjacent open spaces and canopy trees. A light grey wool blend carpet has been selected to create natural warmth and softness in the bedrooms.
